Based out of my studio in Palmerston North, I find inspiration everywhere – from the little interactions and experiences we have every day to the deeper connections we share with our loved ones.

I work with acrylics because they give me the freedom to play with bold colours and abstract forms. It’s amazing how a splash of colour or a unique shape can convey so much emotion and energy.

One of the things I love most about art is that it’s open to interpretation. I purposely leave my work open-ended, so that each person who looks at it can bring their own stories and emotions to the piece.

I find it amazing to see how different people connect with my work in their own way, adding their own layers of meaning to it.

When you look at my paintings, I hope you see something familiar, something that resonates with your own experiences and feelings. I believe art can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity and encouraging us to find beauty in the world.
